The Chinatown Rotary Club was established in 1978. They meet on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 for lunch at 16 Mott Street in the heart of Chinatown. On the last Tuesday of the month, they meet at 6:00 PM. The meeting is conducted in English and offers the best family-style banquet of ethnic Chinese food available. The entrées, however, are not those one would find in a suburban Chinese restaurant. They normally have about fifteen to twenty members at the meeting and love to welcome Rotarians from other clubs. They are very involved in the schools and health clinics in Chinatown. The lunch costs $25.
