From Mumbai to Pennsylvania, Bangalore to Turkey, Kris Chittur has traveled the world for one reason – to help every person that crosses his path. A dynamic Rotarian with initiative and drive, he has initiated and organized countless community service and international understanding projects. He founded the Elderact Club of Briarcliff Manor NY, assisting seniors to be contributing members of the Rotary, even if their health doesn’t allow them to be present. Then he started the Preventative Health & Consumer Awareness Series, a monthly presentation on health related issues, which is open to the public with free admission.
DGE Marilyn Masiero was installed as our 93rd District Governor on Saturday, June 13, in front of over 100 District Rotarians at the Larchmont Yacht Club. PDG Hogy Hansen from D7450 was installing officer. DG Marilyn received flowers from her husband Richard and a second bouquet from the District. Marilyn wears the DG Chain of Governors passed on at the Installation.The May 31st Brooklyn Bridge Walk to end Polio Now was a great success.

Rotary Districts Join ForcesRotary District 7230 - New York Rotary Club, in partnership with District 1130 - London and District 2430 - Ankara have joined in a campaign to aid Syrian Refugee Children.

It works! Congratulations to Rotary Club of North Shore for inducting 3 new members and having more in the ‘pipeline.’One tool used was the 30’ x 40’ membership/classification poster. Prospective members can see who current members are – even if members aren't attendance! This is a constant reminder to all members to bring guests.
