It's that time of the year to make sure your Club is current with the RI Dues for the first part of 2019-20.  Now is also a good time to ensure your Club goals are entered on to Rotary.org

Without goals your Club is like a ship adrift without a destination.  Your goals are a pre-requisite to your Club's Plan of Action.   Remember in order to qualify for the 2019-20 Presidential Citation, your Club's RI dues must be paid by mid-September and your Club goals must be entered on rotary.org.  If your Club has applied for a District Grant this year, without these two requirements fulfilled, you application will not be reviewed by the Grants Committee.

Why set Goals? They are the oxygen to our dreams. They are the first steps to every journey we take.   Imagine having to shoot an arrow without being given a target. Where would you aim? And say you did aim at some random thing. Why would you aim there? And what would the purpose be?   By setting goals for your Club, you are able to measure your progress because you always have a fixed endpoint.   Goals are simply tools to focus your Club's and members' energies in positive directions, these can be changed as your Club's priorities change, new ones added, and others dropped.
