Rotary Club of Chinatown hosted a full-day Community Training on Mental Health Wellness on Saturday, December 9th. The program, attended by Rev. Dr. J. Loren Russell, District Governor 2023-24, District 7230, featured a comprehensive agenda addressing early recognition, warning signs, coping with stigma, stress, depression, and anxiety. Chinatown RC co-presidents Dr. Evelyn Isaacs and Ester Yip and National Alliance on Mental Illness- NAMI representative Evelyn Graham-Nyaasi led the program. The training employed interactive methods, including group work, role-playing exercises, information-sharing questionnaires, video presentations, and therapeutic activities, fostering a supportive environment for participants.
