World Polio Day Fundraiser

Its a celebration!

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, October 24 from 6-9pm at 38 Parlor on 38 W 39th Street for our World Polio Day fundraiser. It will be a fun evening of food, fellowship,  and fantastic raffle prizes at a sultry, shabby-chic loft space in midtown. We’ll be raising funds to support Polio eradication and other causes Metro NYC supports.

Why are we celebrating? Because we are just this close to eradicating Polio worldwide.

What is Polio? Most know it as polio virus. The virus is spread person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can attack the nervous system, and in some instances, lead to paralysis. Although there is no cure, there is a safe and effective vaccine – one which Rotary and our partners use to immunize over 2.5 billion children worldwide.
