Dear Rotary and Rotaract Members and Friends of District 7230:
As we move through this Rotary year, I am filled with immense gratitude and pride for the incredible work we accomplished together in November. It has been a month of service, unity, and transformation that reflects the true spirit of Rotary. Here are some highlights of our achievements and a look at the road ahead:
1. Club Visits: Strengthening Bonds and Celebrating Service
November allowed me to connect with our vibrant district through meaningful club visits, including a memorable trip to Bermuda. Meeting Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Members reinforced the power of our shared mission. I am deeply inspired by each club’s unique contributions, impactful projects, and unwavering dedication to service. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me and shared your vision for the future.
2. Welcome to the Rotary Club of Pioneers, NY
It is with great excitement that we officially welcome the Rotary Club of Pioneers, NY, into our district! This new addition to our Rotary family brings 21 new members with fresh energy and ideas to strengthen our impact. Congratulations to the club’s leadership and members on embarking on this wonderful journey of service. Thanks also to our New Club Advocate, Bina Ahmad for helping to make this happen.
3. PolioPlus Fundraising: A Triumph of Compassion
November was a significant month for our PolioPlus campaign. Through your generous contributions and creative fundraising efforts, we have moved closer to achieving a polio-free world. Your support fuels this life-changing mission, and I cannot thank you enough for being a part of history in the making.
4. Thanksgiving Contributions: A Spirit of Gratitude
I am profoundly moved by the efforts of Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Members who embodied the true spirit of Thanksgiving by giving back to their communities. From food drives to meal preparations, your kindness ensured that those in need were cared for during this season of gratitude. Thank you for demonstrating the heart of Rotary in action.
5. Committee Acknowledgements: United in Purpose
Our district thrives because of the tireless work of our committees. Whether it is organizing events, growing our membership, or leading impactful initiatives, your dedication is the foundation of our success. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to advancing our mission.

This is one of the Rotary Foundation's Areas of Focus and one in which many of us would be aware of the numerous projects around the world supported by clubs and the Foundation.
