Dear Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Friends of District 7230:
As we come to the close of this Rotary year, my heart is full. June is not just the end of a calendar for us—it is the celebration of a journey we’ve shared together. A journey filled with purpose, service, challenge, laughter, and growth.
Serving as your District Governor for 2024–2025 has been one of the greatest honors of my life. It was not always easy—but every step was a blessing. What made it truly meaningful was you—your dedication, your smiles, your trust, and your unwavering Rotary spirit.
From club visits to district events, from launching new initiatives to strengthening old bonds—this year has shown me the best of Rotary. You welcomed me warmly, worked hard, and lived the values of Service Above Self every single day.
A Year of Service, Fellowship, and Growth• We celebrated Maternal and Child Health in April with heartfelt projects and impactful programs.
• We gathered in unity at District Conference 2025, honoring leaders, remembering those we lost, and renewing our shared purpose.
• We expanded our family with the chartering of the Pioneers Rotary Club, the Bermuda Longtails Rotaract Club—a historic first for Bermuda..
• We grew youth engagement with three new Interact Clubs in progress.
• We invested in leadership through District Training Assembly , and PELS Bermuda, building future-ready club leaders.
• A group of us represented the District at the Rotary Convention in Calgary.
• And we looked to the future, welcoming Serkan Ceylan as District Governor Nominee Designate for 2027–28.

To our Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact Clubs—thank you for your passion, your kindness, and your unstoppable energy.
To my Vice Governor, Deputy Governors, Area Governors, District Secretary, AGs, committee chairs, and District team—your quiet strength, hard work, and support made this journey possible. I never walked alone.
To my dear wife Shazia, my First Lady, and to my loving family—thank you for every sacrifice and prayer. Your love gave me strength when I needed it most.
To my friends and supporters—both inside and outside Rotary—your words of encouragement lifted me and meant more than you’ll ever know.
Looking Ahead with Hope and Confidence
Now, with full heart, I pass this beautiful responsibility to someone I admire deeply—our incoming District Governor, Garrett Capobianco.
Garrett, you are a kind soul, a calm voice, and a strong heart. You lead with love, not ego. You listen, you care, and you serve with integrity and grace. I believe in you. We believe in you. And we are all here to support you every step of the way.

Let us carry the spirit of unity, kindness, and service into the year ahead. Let’s keep working together—with open hearts, helping hands, and full faith in the Magic of Rotary.
